Senior Associate

Kanak joined Kitchen Fund from Goldman Sachs PIA, where she was a private equity associate on the consumer / retail and tech teams. She evaluated prospective deals, managed multiple portfolio companies, and was a key member of the investment team for Zaxby’s (where her love for fried chicken flourished).

Prior to that, Kanak was a consumer / retail M&A analyst at Evercore, where she worked with clients in several categories – food, beverage, cosmetics, cannabis, home goods, and fashion. Throughout her career, Kanak has developed a deep passion for food, further bolstered by NYC’s amazing restaurant scene. Kanak attended Queen’s University in Canada where she received a Bachelor of Commerce with Honors.
