Richard is the co-founder and president of QSR International, a multi-brand franchisee in 15 Latin American countries and the Caribbean. Its brands include Quiznos, SmashBurger and Teriyaki Experience, where it operates 131 restaurants.

Prior to founding QSR International, Richard was General Manager and Executive Director of YUM Brands Central America, Caribbean and Northern Latin America.
